I've been growing it for YEARS now. The beard, I mean. Obviously.

TG always plays female characters. So do I. It’s one of those kismet things, I think. It was totally destiny that brought us together, so that we could eventually wind up making unintentionally similar-looking characters with intentionally similar names in a myriad of MMORPGs.

Because of our mostly-recent anti-social behavior in these games, TG has not had chance to interact with many of the quick-to-infatuation male types that you occasionally come across in any online situation. You know, the ones who hit on anything they perceive to have breasts. To my great delight, however, TG has recently made a solo character in Star Wars Galaxies. It wasn’t long after level 20 that he made his first “friend.”

Isn’t it just adorable when e-love blooms in online games? The rose this presumably-male “gentleman” offered TG’s female character was surely beautiful, even if we didn’t get to see it. I’m sure, had TG been a single woman, that this complete stranger’s unexpected complements of “lovely and fair skin” would have wooed her immediately. Alas, TG is male and taken. It’s such a shame, because I’m sure they could have had a beautiful e-lationship had the galaxies been aligned just right.

About Amanda

Amanda is a 20-something flailing gamer. While she loves MMORPGs, the company in them often triggers flare-ups of her social anxiety. Her all-time favorite games include Everquest Online Adventures, Eternal Sonata, the Animal Crossing series, Katamari Damacy, and Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure. She lives on junk food, and her favorite books are equally trashy. She doesn't believe in putting two spaces after a period, but she does strongly believe in the serial comma. Unfortunately, she has a penchant for starting sentences with "and" and "but;" hopefully you won't hold that, or her excessive use of semicolons, against her.
