All the hype today surrounds the Guild Wars 2 beta event this weekend, but I’m much more excited about other news from today.
The Tera Head Start starts four hours earlier than previously planned.
Saturday, April 28 at 8am Pacific time, the servers go up for pre-order players. Open beta characters will not have been wiped, so you can continue right where you left off. In addition, the one character per server limit will be removed, so you can make up to eight characters on each server. Have fun, fellow Teranaughts! I know I will.
With regard to the GW2 beta event, we’re not playing. It’s really never been on our radar beyond simple curiosity, and after watching a bit of streaming on twitch.tv, we’re further assured that it won’t be our game.
I’ll keep an eye on further beta events for the game to see how it develops, but I don’t think I’m really interested in a game that doesn’t support at least some variation of the trinity system. Besides, the dynamic events seem to make my social anxiety wriggle and squirm with so many random people running around getting in everyone else’s bubbles.
